I employ diverse and flexible mediation techniques and strategies to best suit your needs. I have studied facilitative and transformative styles of mediation with additional training in: Strategic Mediation; Advanced Mediation; Divorce and Custody Mediation; Conflict Coaching; Consensus Decision Making for Non-Profit Organizations and Associations; Compassionate Listening; Promoting the Choice to Mediate; Empowerment Through Collaboration; Facilitation for Anti-Oppression; The Aikido of Conflict; Real Estate Mediation; On-line Mediation; and the Alternatives to Violence Project. My experience also includes dealing with difficult people, negotiating contentious settlements, and resolving elder, family and small business conflicts.
In addition to my work with Progressive Conflict Solutions, I mediate through the Philadelphia Domestic Relations Court, Philadelphia Dependency Court, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, Montgomery County Association of Realtors, and Suburban West Realtors Association.
I have served as a co-trainer and coach for Pennyslvania’s Basic Mediation Training, Topics in Conflict Resolution, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (Beasley School of Law, Temple University). I also serve as a volunteer community mediator at the Center for Resolutions, Media, PA, where I received the Richan-Kahn Mediator of the Year award in 2013; and as a volunteer custody mediator for the Good Shepherd Mediation Center in Philadelphia. I currently serve as treasurer of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators and am a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
Progressive Conflict Solutions and I are guided by the Model Standards of Conduct for Mediators and the Standards of Practice for Professional Family Mediators.
